Port Rail Shuttle Network (PRSN)

Location: Cranbourne Line Upgrade (Dandenong South)
Project Overview: Constructing a rail spur for the Port Rail Shuttle Network (PRSN), as part of the Cranbourne Line Upgrade (CLU) for the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP). This PRSN project will encompass civil, track, road, structural and rail infrastructure works within the project extents.

Works completed:

• Cut and dill to allow construction of track formation  
• Construction of approximately 800m of track formation
• Construction of approximately 400m of access track  
•  Construction of drainage outlet to a Melbourne water asset
• Excavation for approximately 1000m of swale drainage
•  Procurement, fabrication and installation of approximately 400m of retraining walls including handrails
• Construction of approximately 500m of chain-link fencing and handrails
• Procurement and installation of approximately 600m of Track drainage and culverts
